Friend
Hi dearies! This card is inspired by my newest friend Sasya's beautiful cards..though it's not as half as pretty as hers..(I get lost for hours on her blog) ...and I specially love her butterflies...
The sentiment is hand-written in Hindi, it is spelt 'mitr' and it means 'friend' and I was inspired to do so after I saw this beautiful hand written verse in Hindi on Spardha's lovely canvas.Have a nice day !

Clean n Simple
Hi ! Have been struggling with this card for almost three days now.I wanted to try out the white inkpad I had bought long ago from Hobby Ideas and a set of clear stamps. But I just couldn't get it to look nice..so finally exasperated with my attempts, I just put it together and decided to post it anyway ..but I must admit that I am not quite happy with it..and to make it worse all the glue marks are showing too :-( ..Some days are just bad creativity wise.anyways ...Hope you guys have a great weekend..

Crackle paint and decoupage on waste bottle
I love to recycle!!!So here's another one..on an olive oil bottle .
I used Hobby Ideas crackling medium. Here's how:
1)Apply a coat of blue acrylic color
2)Let it dry completely.
3)Apply a coat of crackling medium on top of the blue and let it dry too.
4)Apply white fevicryl acrylic color when the medium is toroughly dry.
Then I cut decoupage images from the vintage moth (freebies) and pasted with modge-podge.If you like decoupage you can visit these lovely blogs Sandra's blog and Maria's blog .Cheers!

Burnt Sienna design paper
Hi!!!!
I made this card for pileiton challenge-Do something fun with your paper. So made this Burnt Sienna(no pun intended) by literally burning paper over a gas stove!
Well actually what I did was, rubbed a halved lime over a background design stamp from Hobby Ideas and stamped it onto A4 white sheet and let it dry for a few minutes. Then I held the paper over the gas stove burner at a distance of 8 inches and let the paper burn a little. The result was this beautiful vintage looking sheet of paper.I got this idea from Jak heath's blog but it was a long time ago and I don't remember the exact post. The background design paper is a printout of a freebie from her blog too!
I combined a few of the following challenges:
1) Practicalscrappers - Border Punches and decorative edge scissors
2)corrosivechallengesbyjanet -Lot's of flowers
3)cardpatterns -sketch
4)pileitonchallenge - do something fun with paper
