Some close ups:
Hi!!!!I'm so happy today..coz this is my very first giveaway since I started card making in March of last year.
The candy was always on my mind but just couldn't get round to doing it because all my stuff is crammed into one small cupboard(not that I dont have many but all the rest are full of my clothes!!!) and it's not very organised..it took me so many days to get the stuff out from bags/boxes of all sorts to be able to take these pictures..the best part is even I didn't know I had this stuff he he.So there are some pretty laces and embellies that I still haven't used on my cards and would love to share with you !
Next weekend I'll be going away again.on my last blogging break for this year as my younger brother is getting married in January so going to Mumbai to help my parent's in the preparations... I will choose a winner randomly from the comments on 4th of Jan which also happens to be my and hubby's wedding anniversary(is that how you say it).I seriously hope you like the stuff ..I tried my best to make it fun.
What you need to do to win the candy:
1)Post my candy in your sidebar..
2)You could blog about it along with any other post ..but that's upto you and not a necessity
3)Leave me a comment telling me which item you like best in the candy (please give a link to your blog as I would love to come visit your blog)
4)Become a follower if and only if you like my blog ..it is not at all a necessity for winning the candy
Have a nice day!

SS#37
Hi !
This is a card I made over a period of a week coz I really didn't have the energy to sit at length and complete the card in one go.I really loved the simple sketch at sasya-sketches and was instantly inspired to make this card.Another reason to make this card was that I wanted to use the beautiful punched butterflies I received from Sasya and she sent me so many beautiful things and an absolutely stunning card that is soooo beautiful I can't take my eyes off it and I look at it atleast once everyday :-) .I stamped the butterflies with red ink with a delicate design border stamp and applied some glitter too because I wanted to enter my card in this week's simonsaysstamp challenge too. Here's what Sasya sent me:

Just to let you know....
Hi guys!! I am back and have sooo many things to share with you all..
I was back in town a week back ..I had been to my parent's place in Mumbai during my break, while my hubby was traveling to the U.S on work.Sadly I was down with a real bad bout of flu during the last week and had lost my voice for a couple of days too :-( but I'm ok now though I haven't completely regained my strength..I had a fever for almost a week (which is so weird) and had no energy to do anything..my dear hubby was doing so many the chores apart from office work, like getting groceries and making lunch/dinner and also giving me loads of tlc..thanks to which I'm back on my feet :-)
During that week I also received a beautiful and wonderful gift from my idol Sasya and I intend to put up pics of the stuff she sent me but as of now I have no energy (again) to take any pics. She sent me one of her beautiful cards and loads of papers and stuff...
Well..before my hubby left I had ordered some stuff like dies and embossing folders from acherryontop on my hubby's office address in the U.S and my hubby got the lovely stuff here, but I had ordered my bigshot from another site and 10 days into the order they declined it citing some absurd reason..well that left me in a lurch and I ended up ordering from another site because of which hte bigshot reached my hubby's office after he already left the U.S for India and so it's still lying there :-( .So sadly my dies are of no use right now.
I have been reading as many of your blogs as I could ..can't get back to creating and posting too...you guys have a nice week and take care!

MMSC74
Hi dearies!
I made this card for MMSC74 Midnightmadness sketch challenge the best part is that you have a choice of doing the simple or complex version of the same sketch. sketch ..I chose the simpler of the two sketches for this card. My sewing machine arrived this weekend and was super excited to try out some sewing on this card but only fter a few hiccups did I manage to get some straight lines ...phew! Hope you like it and have a great day!

Wishes..
Hi !
I made this card today for two great challenges...the wonderful sketch at 2sketches4you, everybody-art-challenge (hand-made flowers) and Karen's challenge on Yvonne's blog .I followed Karen's tutorial and stamped the image with different colors .I hand cut the label and made a little ribbon flower to complete the look.Though i would have preferred darker colors of ink but these are the only ones I have at the moment.Though simple the card took me an awful lot of time coz the ribbon flower kept unraveling every few minutes and finally I decided to stitch it with a few beads in the centre.Have a great day!

Roses
Hi dearies!
I made this card for priscillastyles challenge 69
I made this card for priscillastyles challenge 69
This card was a reall challenge..first the circles ..then I just couldn't match any of my papers(tried all combinations fr half an hour) for the circle in the foreground with the background DP.So I ended up shabbily stamping an image in blue! Also I had to emboss without a heat gun..after much struggling i finally found a solution and believe it or not..I help my paper above the gas burner and it actually embossed the gold powder in like a seconds time!
The rectangular piece of paper is from an old wedding invite. The background DP is from Landmark. The roses are handmade.
I also entered this card for acraftylittleplace -anything goes

'Rakhi'
Hi dearies!
I made this card today for Card Patterns sketch 77.I found the sketch to be quite interesting and so set out to make this really ethnic Indian card. The card in real is much more blingy..(maybe my camera couldn't take all the bling ;-) )
The card is essentially a Rakhi card I made for my brother..actually I happen to be sending him a Rakhi after a really long time...I must admit..I am a bit lazy.I got the idea of attaching the Rakhi in the card itself from Spardha's amazing card here
For those wondering what 'Rakhi' is all about ..here's a little info..A Rakhi is a sacred thread that a sister ties to her brother's wrist on the day of Rakha Bandhan and the brother in return vows to protect and care for his sister in her time of need. The Rakhi could also be tied to person who'm you would like to give the status or love of a brother. Have a happy week!

Friend
Hi dearies! This card is inspired by my newest friend Sasya's beautiful cards..though it's not as half as pretty as hers..(I get lost for hours on her blog) ...and I specially love her butterflies...
The sentiment is hand-written in Hindi, it is spelt 'mitr' and it means 'friend' and I was inspired to do so after I saw this beautiful hand written verse in Hindi on Spardha's lovely canvas.Have a nice day !

Clean n Simple
Hi ! Have been struggling with this card for almost three days now.I wanted to try out the white inkpad I had bought long ago from Hobby Ideas and a set of clear stamps. But I just couldn't get it to look nice..so finally exasperated with my attempts, I just put it together and decided to post it anyway ..but I must admit that I am not quite happy with it..and to make it worse all the glue marks are showing too :-( ..Some days are just bad creativity wise.anyways ...Hope you guys have a great weekend..
