Roses

Hi dearies!
I made this card for priscillastyles challenge 69

This card was a reall challenge..first the circles ..then I just couldn't match any of my papers(tried all combinations fr half an hour) for the circle in the foreground with the background DP.So I ended up shabbily stamping an image in blue! Also I had to emboss without a heat gun..after much struggling i finally found a solution and believe it or not..I help my paper above the gas burner and it actually embossed the gold powder in like a seconds time!
The rectangular piece of paper is from an old wedding invite. The background DP is from Landmark. The roses are handmade.
I also entered this card for acraftylittleplace -anything goes

  3. Wow Shraddha, you made your own tiny roses!!! That is wonderful. Your card is so pretty and I am impressed that again you made those roses. It tickled me about the gold embossing powder over the burner....hey a girl has got to do what a girl has to do for creativity!!! Great job with the sketch this week. Thank you so much for playing along with the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.

  7. Shraddrah, A BIG WARM WELCOME to the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge! We are delighted that you have found us. Your card is lovely!! I could never emboss over an open flame, I would burn it up for sure, but one time I did over an electric burner and that worked. I would try over an iron or a hair dryer on low, those might work. Your roses are smashing!! Love all your papers!! The MMDesign Team thanks you for playing in our challenge this week.

  11. Sharadda what an honor to have you join us in the fun for your very first time over at Midnight Madness. Your work and trials with the sketch really paid off, as you have created such a beauty here! I just adore the shabby look and especially the blue stamping in the center. The other patterned papers all fit so well too! And the roses are the perfect touch. Thank you so much for playing the Midnight Madness this week. I hope you decide to join us again. I would love to see another of your pretties!
