Quilled card

Recently made this quilled card with a bouquet of quilled flowers...Took inspiration from a lot of sites on the web.

Simple glass bottle vase made using 'Hobby Ideas' crackle paint

Made this vase from a waste glass bottle using crackling medium.

Paint a thick layer of blue acrylic paint on the bottle. Let it dry. Apply another coat.

Apply a thick coat of crackle medium with another dry brush and let it dry for 20 to 25 min.

Apply a relatively thin layer of another contrasting acrylic paint and again let it dry for an hour. while the second colour layer dries, cracks start to appear showing the first colour layer.

Flower rangoli on water

Inspired by these beautiful rangoli (that i saw at an entrance of a hotel )made on water with fresh flowers, I tried my hand at a few myself. One tip is to arrange flowers from outside in so that they dont float around while you are at it.
